After the announcement that Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have called it quits after six years, Bloom talked about his Broadway play Romeo and Juliet, People reported.
The 36-year-old actor appeared on Live with Kelly and Michael on Friday. He did not talked about his marriage but described his experience kissing his Juliet, Condola Rashad, more or less eight times a week in the play.
"We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on. Sometimes I'm like, I'm not letting go," Bloom said, as noted by the New York Post.
It seems it's not only Bloom who's praising the kiss.
Rashad told Newsday about how she and Bloom developed stage chemistry. "What's funny is that we didn't have to force it. We had a connection from the minute we met ... a sense of comfort with each other. Which was cool. We both loved the work. And he's such a great guy."
She added that since their chemistry was immediate they "didn't have to work too hard at it. We hang out sometimes afterward, but we've built the relationship we have just by being around each other. ... We have a lot of fun and trust between the two of us."
