Actor Lee Ji Hoon saved an abandoned dog in danger of road kill on a highway on October 24, 2013.

Lee Ji Hoon on SNS posted, "This dog was in a danger. I took it to the vet and he said it had a serious skin disease and couldn't even pee or poop because of the large hump that was developed after hernia." He added, "Hope it meets its lost owner soon. Hope it wasn't abandoned because it was old and ill."

Lee Ji Hoon's agency said, "The dog was in a dangerous situation which needed an immediate surgery. Luckily the vet offered to provide half of the cost of surgery, and Lee Ji Hoon asked for donation from the fans through SNS."

Lee Ji Hoon said, "I want to help the dog with the treatment and protect it while we find the owner. It's the fans not me who saved its life."

Lee Ji Hoon currently stars in SBS entertainment program "World Challenge - We are Coming."
