It's no simple feat to memorize lines upon lines of script, but the cast of "The Heirs" prove their dedication towards the craft, both in front of the camera while the film is rolling and also behind the scenes, by concentrating on the script and practicing their lines with their co-actors.
"The Heirs' has received much attention because of its star-studded cast, but behind all the glitz and glamour of the elite high school students is the script and story of veteran writer Kim Eun Sook, who is also known for writing popular dramas like "Secret Garden" and "Lovers in Paris".
Her writing style managed to capture not only the fans but the cast as well. According to Lee Min Ho, "I am always excited about the next script because of the interesting story line each episode entails," while Park Shin Hye also said, "I work hard to capture Eun Sang's feelings." Kim Woo Bin admitted, "The more I read the script, the more I learn something new about Choi Young Do."
In addition, Krystal shared, "To fully internalize Lee Bo Na's character, I read the script so many times to the point that I memorize every scene," and Minhyuk said, "I have fully absorbed the script to the point that I even say Chan Young's lines in the way he's supposed to speak as well." Minhyuk also said, "It's fun that Myung Soo's character bickers with the other characters a lot. He's so vivid and lively."
"The Heirs" airs every Wednesday and Thrusday.
