CEO of YG Entertainment Yang Hyun Suk shared that G-Dragon agreed to star in "Weekday Idol" on Jung Hyung Don's casting request.

Yang Hyun Suk said, "I heard from G-Dragon and agreed on him starring in MBC Everyone "Weekday Idol." G-Dragon said he agreed to do it as soon as he heard about it from Jung Hyung Don."

Yang Hyung Suk added, "In fact, 'Weekday Idol' is a program where non of the YG family singers have made an appearance, but when I heard from G-Dragon that Jung Hyung Don asked him to star in the show, I agreed at once."

G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don currently appear together in "Infinite Challenge Music Festival." Their collaboration in "Weekday Idol" is garnering many fans' expectations.

"Weekday Idol" starring G-Dragon is to air in the middle of November.
