Hollywood actress Megan Fox shared on her recent interview how her first appearance for the upcoming Korean film, "Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes" went successful.
"Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes" revolves around and is based on a true story during "The Battle of Jangsari" which took over two days, September 14 and September 15 in the year 1950 that took place in Jangsari, Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea.
772 student soldiers including Choi Sung Pil (Choi Minho) and lead by Lee Myung Joon ( Kim Myung Min) who is the captain of a guerilla army unit that will help to ensure the success of their country.
Risking their lives, their mission is to deceive the North Koreans thinking that they will be launching a decisive invasion there but the real invasion and battle will really take place in Incheon. With an average age of 17 of the 772 student soldiers with only two weeks of training, they rode a ship from Moonsanho to Jangsari under the shower of bullets.
Megan Fox will play the role of a war journalist named Maggie between these two-day battle which will take place in Jangsari.
Meanwhile, Megan Fox, upon flying and filming in Korea also makes an appearance for TV shows such as "Delicious Guys" , "Celebrity Broadcast" and "Amazing Saturday"
In Megan Fox's interview, before she accepted the role she said that, "I asked them to send me a scenario, and I showed them my previous productions, such as the movie "Into Saturation" (2010). "I wanted to play a character with a serious atmosphere."
Megan fox really looked into the scenes, as well as the role of Maggie and look into the Korean War seriously and liked it.
It was also revealed that Jessica Alba is the original actress offered by the role Maggie, but due to the conflicts of the actress's schedule, another great actress was chosen and it is Megan Fox.
On the other hand, Megan Fox also shared that she enjoyed Korea as well as Korean foods especially pumpkin porridge.
Megan Fox visited Korea on January to shoot "Jangsari". "I stayed for about 10 days and took 7 shots. Chung also told a later story, "I have visited the scene even when there are no shots of myself."
Fans and supporters were already anticipating the movie that is surely made with the effort and hardwork of the actors and actresses.
"Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes" is set to be released on September 25th.
