The JTBC's Monday to Tuesday drama will tell the story about the three matchmaker boys namely Kim Min Jae, Park Ji Hoon and Byun Woo Seok who have received a request from King Seo Ji Hoon who wants to transform his first love into a refined noblewoman who is Gae Ddong played by Gong Seung Yeon.
With regard to her decision to join and portray the drama, Gong Seung Yeon stated, "I took on the challenge because I thought I could grow as a person as much as Gae Ddong was in the drama." Aside from that, she also revealed her character towards the drama, "Gae Ddong is a character who is overflowing with cute and lovable charms. At first, I felt pressure about whether I would be able to pull off the character well, but I naturally became drawn to Gae Ddong's charms."
Meanwhile, Gong Seung Yeon shared, "When I am on set, I always try to live as Gae Ddong. Now I unconsciously speak and act like Gae Ddong and my hard work feels worth it as I think, I am gradually resembling my character more. Through this drama, I want to express that of faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is love."
Moreover, the production staff had shared an intriguing relationship chart of the characters prior to its premiere. Yi Soo played by Seo Ji Hoon is a blacksmith who will turn into a king surrounded by Moon Seok played by Lee Yoon Geon and his adoptive father Kang Mong Goo played by Jung Jae Sung who is a senior minister of state who aims to reverse the current situation.
Yi Soo has a royal lineage and Ma Bong Duk played by Park Ho San is the Chief State Councillor and Ma Hoon's (Ki Min Jae) father in the story. The other character of the Flower Crew including Go Young Soo played by Park Ji Hoon is an image consultant while Do Joo played by Byun Woo Seok is an informant. Kang Mong Goo's daughter will be the one who will take pride in by means of her intelligence and beauty. Viewers should anticipate for the upcoming seasons off.
