Actor Jung Il Woo shares that he once made 300 handwritten letters for his fans.
During the press conference of the MBC drama "Golden Rainbow" last October 31 held at the 63 Building in Yeouido, he talked about a special event that he held for his fans during his birthday. He said, "During my recent birthday, I wrote letters for 300 fans."
Many were surprised by this, and he added, "I am always at the receiving end of my fans' love, so I thought I should do something for them. While wondering what I should to repay their kindness, I decided to write them a letter."
But surely, writing 300 letters by hands is not a simple feat, so he explained, "I stayed up an entire week to write those letters. It wasn't easy, so I'm happy that the fans seemed to like and appreciate what I did. I plan on doing more events like this in the future.
Jung Il Woo plays the role of Do Young, a prosecutor who is estranged from his family. Joining him in this drama is After School's UEE as the main lead Baek Won. "Golden Rainbow" is story about family and relying on each other for strength during times of problems and hardships.
