There was an unofficial update regarding Park Hae Jin and Lee Si Ah's long-delayed drama "Four Sons".
"Four Sons," tells a story about a man who crosses paths with 3 men who look identical to him while he is investigating his mother's mysterious death. It is a fantasy thriller drama. The producing director (PD) Jang Tae Yoo from "My Love From the Star" was set to produce this drama and Park Hae Jin and Nana was the original casting. The drama had to overcome production problems last year the results to its cast members like Nana. And directors had to change. They were not able to wait and decided it is better to move on.
A source from the drama industry told Ilgan Sports on October 16 that the production company of the drama had undergone some extra filming recently. The source said they assembled the cast members and crew to work on the final details on the production. They are preparing to give the drama another shot.
"Four Sons" originally started filming in January 2018. Nana was supposed to be the female lead but was replaced by Lee Si Ah in August 2018. Lee Si Ah was able to perform well for her character. The drama was unable to finish in the time written in their contract. I
t is not yet known what the drama will do after losing the lead actor who will play the 4 characters in the story. Park Hae Jin and Lee Si Ah were only able to film up to 12 episodes of content. It is reported that the production company is thinking about cutting it down to make an eight-episode or six-episode series. They are considering to put on a second season instead. A source from the drama said that they thought of reducing the length to 8 episodes and sell it to a broadcaster.
To be able to finish the storyline that was filmed already, actors like Park Geun Hyung agreed to the production company's request for extra filming. The production company is still searching for a broadcaster for the drama. It is uncertain for viewers to know when they will get to see the drama.
