AOA's Seolhyun plays Han Hee Jae who grew up in the Yihwaru courtesan house. She did her best to speak up and fight against the evils in her country. Park Ye Jin plays Queen Sindeok, the Queen who shares the same ambition with Lee Bang Won and Yi Sung Kye (played by Kim Young Chul). She had a grand entrance during episode three. She is not afraid of Lee Bang Won's forceful energy and told him to know his place. She left her son Bang Seok (played by Kim Min-Ho) in the care of Han Hee Jae while she ran away. She handed her a knife to kill her before she becomes Choi Young's pawn. This scene proves that she is both a wife of a powerful man and a woman with great pride. Viewers should look forward as she encounters Lee Bang Won in a suspense fight for the throne of Joseon.
