Na Moon-hee, who made 36 million audiences laugh and cry through her previous appearances in films such as "She won" and "I Can Speak", gives birth to another character. Joining her in this project is the child-star Kim Soo-an from "Going to Busan" and "The Battleship Island." Their chemistry together will surely bring an emotion-filled movie into life.
On the morning of October 30, a production report was held at Megabox Dongdaemun, Uljiro, Seoul. Actors Na Moon-hee, Kim Soo-an and Heo In-moo attended. The film is about a strange cohabitation that started when Kim Soo-an suddenly showed up on Na Moon-hee's house claiming that she's her granddaughter.
The director explained the intention of the work saying, "I wanted to give a pleasant and packed feeling through the story of two people who seemed to be incongruous." He also said Na Moon-hee was the first actress that crossed his mind when he was planning the scenario. "This casting doesn't yield to others," he said. Fortunately, Ms. Na Moon-hee accepted the role. "Ms. Na Moon-hee's acting was like a Moorim master." He also praised Kim Soo-an saying, "When I first filmed with Kim Soo-an, I thought it would be hard working with her cause she's a kid. However, I didn't feel like working with a child while shooting."
A Little Princess is surely a movie to watch out for. Wits heartwarming story and star-studed cast. The film is scheduled to be released in South Korea on the 27th of November 2019.
