Jang Hyuk gave a breathtaking ending in JTBC Friday-Saturday drama 'My Country.'
The episode aired on November 9 depicted Lee Bang Won (Jang Hyuk) who burst his anger at his father and king Lee Seong-Gye, who didn't recognize Bang-Won as his son and tried to use him until the end. Later, Bang-Won cut off the father-son relationship with him by himself.
By breaking the stone bridge, he cut off the king-servant relationship as well and announced the beginning of Strife of Princes. Jang Hyuk conveyed Bang-Won's earnest desire to receive his king's recognition and father's compliments with his eyes only.
In the final scene of the episode, Jang Hyuk drew attention by further raising the drama's immersion level with Kim Young-Chul who plays Lee Seong-Gye through breathless acting.
My Country: The New Age is a story during the transitional period between the end of the Goryeo dynasty and the beginning of the Joseon dynasty that airs every Friday and Saturday 10:50 pm.
