SF9's Rowoon Talked About His Lead Role and Favorite Scenes In "Extraordinary You"

Rowoon played the role of Ha Roo. He is the love interest of Dan Oh. Kim Hye Yoon (who played Eun Dan Oh) tried their best to change their destiny. Rowoon was a nameless character but he was praised by the viewers for the great portrayal of Ha Roo. Rowoon talked about the finale of his drama. He said he can't believe it is over. He is used to going to school set every morning. He said he was recognized as Ha Roo for 6 months. He still likes being Ha Roo. 

Rowoon was asked about gaining popularity from "Extraordinary You." He said some people who didn't like autographs came to him to have one. He was surprised and realized he has become popular. He noticed his popularity when looking at his increasing social media followers and fan café members. He said he is very thankful.

He felt a great pressure because Ha Roo is his first-time lead role in the drama. He tried his best in acting. He tried to make a happy atmosphere for her cast members to feel comfortable working. He talked about the new things he learned while filming. He said he gained more experience to improve his acting skills. He is looking for other ways to portray his character properly aside from reading the script. He got to know himself more by working in the drama. He said this drama made him discover a part of himself he didn't know about. This drama made him feel different emotions that are unforgettable.

He said that his character doesn't have a complete description of the script. He tried to search his way to adapt on set. He thought viewers will not like such a mysterious character. He described Ha Roo as someone who is shy with Dan Oh but acts bravely to save her from dangerous situations. He watched the film "A Werewolf Boy." He said Ha Roo seems like a puppy.

He talked about the hardship he experienced in filming. He said he studied and read his script every day. He kept a journal during their overseas tours, where he wrote the feelings Ha Roo gets whenever he is in a new place. He tried to communicate using only eye contact.

Rowoon said it was hard because his character used to hide all his feelings inside. He tried to be his real self while acting. He said Ha Roo wears the same pair of shoes from episode 15 onwards. He remembered everything about how his character gets his identity. He wanted perfection for his character so he studied swimming, tennis, horseback riding, and fencing.

He revealed his favorite scene in "Extraordinary You". He chose the ending to part three. This is when he said he will not remember even if you say it. The scene will alter soon.  He said they discussed this scene with other members. He loved how emotions are linked to every scene. Dan Oh said the will change their fate together. Ha Roo repeated this line after he disappeared and during the star scene. He finds it amazing. 

Rowoon talked about being an actor and a singer. He said Rowoon as an actor is different from SF9's Rowoon. He said that he is always doing his best in everything. He said that he will never neglect his activities as a singer and as an actor. Rowoon said that he tried his best to portray his character in "Extraordinary You." He thanked the viewers who liked Ha Roo. He is hoping people will remember Ha Roo even though his drama ended. He wishes to get support from fans for his future activities.
