Kim Woo Bin's fan meeting was a blast! After nearly three years of taking a break due to nasopharyngeal cancer, the actor is back and ready to pick up where he left off.

On December 8th, Kim Woo Bin had his first fan meeting after his long break. The "2019 Kim Woo Bin Thank You" fan meet-up event was held at SMTOWN THEATRE.

A source said that the actor has actively arranged and planned for the meeting. He wanted it to look and feel like a talk show wherein everyone could freely converse and share their ideas. The event was hosted by the famous MC Kim Tae Jin and all profits earned from the event will be donated to children with cancer.

As Kim Woo Bin made his entrance, fans happily cheered him on. Everyone was ecstatic to see the actor. In return, Woo Bin bowed to show his gratefulness towards his fans.

During the event, a short video was played. It contains shots and moving images of various events including a backstage video from the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards wherein Woo Bin made a short appearance. Also, photos and clips from his daily life when he was having a break and his treatments were also shown.

As the actor talked about his experiences, everyone listened eagerly and was happy to know that their beloved Woo Bin is now healthy and joyful. To show his sincere thanks and appreciation to his fans, Kim Woo Bin gave everybody a signed photograph of himself.

Kim Ki Bang, Im Joo Hwan, and Lee Kwan Soo also made surprise appearances. They are known to be close friends with the actor so it's not really a shock that they came to support Woo Bin's fan meeting event. However, Woo Bin was truly shocked when he saw his friends as he didn't know they were coming. The three actors also shared their funny Woo Bin stories which fans loved.

As the event came to a close, Woo Bin made a speech. The actor said "I have been waiting for this time to see you all again, my fans, thank you so much. It has been almost three years. Now, it feels so much warmer and fun. The event turned out to be more joyful than I have imagined. I wanted to share all my stories since I haven't seen you guys in a long time. From now on, I promise to greet and meet up with you more often. I will try to communicate with you more and share my stories personally with you all. Thank you for coming. Thank you for your time. I love you all."

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin is currently shooting a comeback movie and is rumored to have a new drama soon.
