The famous Korean director of the film "Parasite," Bong Joon Ho, appeared at "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" on December 9. Bong Joon Ho has gained recognition through his latest film "Parasite" which has won several awards including "Critic's Choice Awards," and "Golden Globe Awards."
In the episode, Jimmy asked Joon Ho to summarize the film "Parasite" and describe it as everyone who has seen the film find it difficult to explain. The only words that can come out of their mouth after watching the movie were "WOW" and "It was great!" A lot of viewers' were left speechless. In Joon Ho's words, however, he described the film as funny and scary. Jimmy Fallon did a facepalm as soon as he heard the director's comment.
Afterward, the acclaimed director shared what he was thinking about during the standing ovation he has received which lasted 8 minutes long at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. His thoughts surely made the audience laugh.
