It was confirmed that MBC will be releasing a new drama. This is the drama that Nam Ji Hyun will be making her return.
This 10th of December, it was affirmed that Nam Ji Hyun will have her come back drama. She will be playing the lead female role in the upcoming drama of MBC titled "365: A year of Defying Fate"
This is actually a story wherein 10 people are given a chance to go back in the past, time-slipping for a year back. By the chance that is given to them, they could create a perfect life for themselves. Eventually, they are stuck in a mysterious survival game as their future becomes unclear. They are forced to face a destiny they have never expected. By coming back to the past unexpected mysterious situations begins to arise and their fates are changed and are twisted in the process.
The leading star in this drama is Ji Hyung Joo to be played by actor Lee Joon Hyuk. His character is a detective in the violent crimes division. He was promoted to this position because he caught and arrested a wanted criminal. He used to be traffic police but was promoted to a detective. It has been several years since the change in his position and he is still a very relaxed and calm person and he uses his talents very well. Although he is very happy to be given the chance to go back in time by a year and change his fate, he begins to find the truth when a series of unknown events befall on the people that he goes back in time with.
Nam Ji Hyun plays the role of Shin Ga Hyun, an artist who is working on a popular webtoon "hidden Killer" for the past three years. Although she is already very wealthy and popular, she has all the fame and wealth she wished for she was very workaholic and doesn't have the time or privilege to enjoy life. She is very preoccupied with working for her webtoon series. She's a very sensitive perfectionist, who cannot stop thinking about some bad comments on her even if she received a thousand good ones. She is tagged as the author of the best-reviewed work, and she refuses to let go of that title. Then she experienced a sudden accident that made her life all in a snap. That is when she receives an offer to restart her life.
The drama is actually based on the Japanese novel called "repeat". This is the first time that Nam Ji Hyun takes this kind of drama piece.
"365: A year of Defying Fate" is set to air in 2020.
