The international fans just can't wait to see the debut of Ryan Reynolds on the "Running Man" show since everyone knows that he is a very funny man and he will definitely blend in with the regular cast of the show. In addition, Reynolds has already experienced appearing on a Korean Variety Series. So he is not new to Korean shows. He shocked the viewers when he appeared as a singer on the show "The King of Mask Singer" last year. He was in the country to promote his movie "Deadpool 2". In this particular show viewers were amazed when Reynolds came out in a disguise wearing a unicorn costume and sang the song from the musical show "Annie" titled "Tomorrow". Ryan Reynolds may not have the perfect singing voice but the judges praised his good English pronunciation not knowing that in front of them was the famous international star.
The Deadpool actor is always open to talk about his love for South Korea and the entertainers there. One particular star that he mentions was HyunA. In the year 2016, he did a photoshoot with HyunA for a High Cut magazine for the promotion of his first "Deadpool" movie. When the magazine was released most fans assumed that the model was going be the wife of Deadpool on the movie. Reynolds made it known for everyone that he was indeed the person behind the Deadpool costume. He even jokingly said that his famous wife, Blake Lively was jealous of his crush for HyunA.
As a matter of fact, Ryan Reynolds was not the first international celebrity to join in some of Korea's variety show. The famous basketball star Stephen Curry and his brother Seth Curry was a guest on the "Infinite Challenge" show. Also, the Australian group was in the whole episode of "YO!"
Back to the "Running Man" show, Reynolds is also not the first international star to appear here. There was Tom Cruise with his "Mission Impossible Fallout" co-stars Henry Cavil and also Simon Pegg.
The producers of the show have yet to reveal what they have in store for Ryan Reynolds, who has limited time in Korea before heading to the next country to promote his new movie "6 Underground." When Cruise was a guest star, the cast only had about one hour with him. We are hoping that the name tags are indicative of a race between the cast members and the guest stars. Let's see!
