On an episode of tVN's "RUN," Ji Sung shared some insight into his life and his family. Ji Sung was married to actress Lee Bo Young in the year 2013. They both have two beautiful young kids.
tvN's new show "RUN" follows its casts on their journey towards participating in a marathon in Florence, Italy. The casts of the show are Ji Sung, Kang Ki Young, Hwang Hee, and Lee Tae Sun, they will train together to achieve their goal.
Ji Sung showed his dedication to running throughout the episode as he led the team to achieve their goals.
On the 27th day before the marathon, they sat together and have a meal and talked about taking on the challenge, Ji Sung gave a suggestion that they should meet every morning to run together. Lee Tae Sun immediately replied, "When you sent me a message that said you were going to sleep, it was 7 p.m. I was so surprised."
Then, Kang Ki Young gave his comment that Ji Sung must be a big morning person. To which Ji Sung explained, that after putting his kids to bed, he will go to bed and sleep also. Then he wakes up early and starts his day early. He baffled everyone by suggesting that they would meet at 5 a.m. before the sun rises.
Also in this episode, both Ji Sung and Kang Ki had a small talk together on their own. Ji Sung said to Kang Ki Young that his wife was very happy to hear that they are doing this marathon together. Kang Ki Young gave his reply formally that it is even honor for him that Ji Sung's wife knows who he is. And Ji Sung jokingly told him not to talk like that just because they're on television.
Kang Ki Young also said that he had heard a lot of good things about Ji Sung. He said that he has heard that Ji Sung lives a regulated life and that he is an upright person to which those rumors have already spread. Kang Ki Young also told him that he is an example of an ideal husband.
Thoughts that Ji Sung also shared is that I expected that it would be a bit less lonely if he was to run with his beloved wife, but she told him to run on his own. He laughed and explained that though she also likes to run, their timing just doesn't match.
He added, There are plenty of times that both of them have different things that they want, and explained that being unconditionally considerate of each other's wishes is important.
When the cast arrived in Italy and have settled into their rooms, they just talked together about their lives. Kang Ki Young gave his comments about the life of Ji Sung which is totally different since he already has kids.
Ji Sung replied, "They're a gift from God, the greatest gift."
