Kim Min Joon has confirmed that he will be getting married with G-Dragon's older sister, Dami Kwon. On September 10th, he has confirmed that they will be having a private ceremony on October 11th, 3 months after they have revealed their relationship publicly due to the reason that maybe some fans would show up to their ceremony.
He also said that there are no pressure given to him by his peers about being too late in his marriage since he was already in his early 40's. He initially wanted to keep the marriage a secret because he doesn't want her future wife to be labelled as just his wife since his younger brother and Kim Min Joon are already celebrities and she already accepts needless attention from the press. Kim Min Joon then said that he will do everything to keep his wife safe.
Kim Min Joon has appeared on SBS reality show as a special MC last January 19, who officially tied the knot with BIGBANG's G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) older sister last October 11, 2019. Dami Kwon is a fashion icon and is considered as one of the influencers in the said topic in Asia. Watching the cast members' footage enjoying a meal, host Shin Dong Yup asked Kim Min Joon if he often cooked at home for himself. He replied that when he was still single, he would often cook for himself and that he would prefer cooking home-cooked meals compared to eating out.
A follow up question given by Shin Dong Yup to Kim Min Joon, do you ever cook for your wife after your marriage? Kim Min Joon replied that his wife almost never lets him cook since his wife enjoys cooking for the both of them. He also added that eating together during dinner is important for the both of them since they both work all throughout the day and it is meaningful for them to be able to talk about what happened to their day.
A panel of celebrity moms told Dami Kwon that she must be a good cook for her husband, Kim Min Joon exposed her wife that when he will eat breakfast or even lunch in their homes, Dami Kwon would prepare meals in advance just for him even though she is busy and he is grateful for the small things that his wife has done.
