Lee Min Ho journeys across dimensions to find Kim Go-eun in the second teaser clip for SBS's most anticipated drama and the two actors massive comeback project, "The King: Eternal Monarch."

This drama is reported to be broadcast some time this April 2020. It is also said to be the brand new project of the hit scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook, who also penned "Secret Garden," "The Lonely and Great God," "Mister Sunshine," and more. Filming for the said drama started last October 23, 2019. The first script reading took place on September 17, 2019.

"The King: Eternal Monarch" tells the story of a king who has the ability to travel across different dimensions, and his fateful meeting with the female detective.

Joining Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun are Woo Do-hwan, Jung Eun-chae, and many more. The drama is being produced by Hwa&Dam Pictures and its parent company Studio Dragon.

Lee Min Ho will portray the role of a mysterious king from another universe, named Lee Gon. Meanwhile, actress Kim Go-eun will play the role of a hardworking yet doubtful detective named Jung Tae Eul. The Korean emperor Lee Gon attempts to close the doors to a parallel world, which was opened by demons who were released by a deity into the human world. On the other hand, the female detective tries her very best to protect the people and the one she loves.

Lee Min Ho's humble beginnings in the industry includes auditioning for and landing on minor roles in several television dramas like "Nonstop 5" and "Recipe of Love." The actor's official debut role was in an EBS series, titled "Secret Campus," that was released in 2003.

In the early stage of his growing career, the actor went by the stage name Lee Min since his agency thought that his original name was too ordinary. But later on, he decided to continue using his original name, since he said that it was a bit hard to find himself on the internet search results.

Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun debuted in the film "A Muse" (2012) where she took home several Best New Actress awards in South Korea. In this film, Kim Go-eun portrayed the character of Eun-gyo, a 17-year-old high school student who provoked the lust of two men.

It is said that before starring in this film, she neither appeared in a film and TV series nor did she play a minor role. The actress only experienced acting in student productions or school plays. Kim Go-eun met the "A Muse" director Jung Ji-woo through her circle of friends and at that time, she was not aware that there were some auditions for the said film being held. After having a chat with the director, Kim Go-eun ended up going in the auditions. In the end, she was the chosen one to play the role among some 300 actresses who auditioned for the part.
