According to a Korean entertainment news outlet, the actors Yoo Ah In and Gong Hyo Jin were supposed to attend the Burberry fashion show in London but were banned from attending due to the coronavirus outbreak in South Korea.

The reports stated that the two popular celebrity and Korean fashion icons were discriminated against together with various Korean influencers and media reporters.

However, it wasn't just them that was banned. The luxurious and well-known fashion brand allegedly ordered that all press, celebrities, and influencers from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korean, and Japan should not be allowed to participate this year.

On the other hand, Westwood, Mulberry, and Hindmarch still allowed Asian celebrities to participate in the recent London Fashion Week.

In regards to these reports, the actors' talent agencies clarified that it wasn't Burberry who ordered the banned. There was no ban but it was the personal decision of the actors.

United Artist Agency stated:

"Burberry invited us to come. They did not ban anybody, but after some discussion, we decided not to participate in the event as a precaution. At a time like this, everyone's health is our utmost concern."

"Besides why woul a company ban and not allow their official ambassadors attend their event?"

Management Soop, Gong Hyo Jin's agency, also released a similar statement.

They said, "after talking with Burberry, we decided not to move forward with the event. It is not true that they banned us."
