Actor Sung Hoon shared his thoughts about romance as he promotes his upcoming film "Are You In Love" and clarified rumors about his controversial hug with co-actor Park Na Rae.
The film revolves around a mystery book that has the ability to answer all their questions regarding love and this changed the fate of two people who met across this book.
When asked about his plans about getting married he said, "I don't have any plans to date someone or get married because I have become used to living on my own, just me. Well, marriage is an open ending. To be honest, I don't think that it would be comfortable for me to live well after tying the knot. But if ever I get married, I wanted to live my life with one person, and I am certain that I might get a divorce if I was to get married now. I don't have any positive and negative thoughts about marriage but I tend to take marriage seriously."
It was earlier this year when Sung Hoon was linked to a dating rumor with his fellow "Home Alone" co-star Park Na Rae. The rumors about these two artists have spread all over the media in which he chose to leave no comment during his YouTube Interview.
He also shared. "When this dating rumor spread, people started to ask me but I insisted that 'what's false is false.' Park Na Rae is the person whom I grew close with during the film of Home Alone, so I try to take care of our friendship. I think people have misinterpreted the way we show care to each other because that is what they saw whenever we go live on air, but we are not really dating."
He also sheds some light and clarifications behind the controversial 'hug' with Park Na Rae after her win for the Grand Prize at the 2019 MBC Entertainment Awards, Sung Hoon said, "That embrace is something that I had thought of a long time ago before she won the award. After Lee Young Ja won the Grand PrIze IN 2018, I thought of wanting to give Na Rae a hug if she was to win the Grand Prize in the following year."
In the film 'Are You in Love' Sung Hoon's character is a cold-hearted cafe master named Seung Jae. Some viewers criticized his character as an adult who lacked emotions, emphasizing out on how he scolded at a female lead in order to receive a response to his confession. "I have different insight for that, I thought it was something that you should be laughing at as comedy when filming it but I think it is different now, it is risky. But for those who have seen the film will know that my character is actually soft-hearted. Please look at him as a character that has been having difficulties in expressing himself to other people."
Are You In Love started filming in 2017 and is set to be premiered on March 25!
