Stallion Entertainment, Sung Hoon's agency, is now entangled in a legal war with a cosmetics company that the actor endorses.

In August of 2018, Stallion Entertainment reportedly signed a contract with a cosmetics firm that featured Sung Hoon to participate as an endorser of their products and as their exclusive model. However, it was revealed that the cosmetics company was not able to comply with the promises stated in the said contract, and it was not carried out as planned.

The agency attempted to sue the company in February of 2019 for the amount of 200 million won, which is approximately $162,863, but the court's ruling stated that the contract did not violate any portrait or publicity rights.

Then, the Stallion Entertainment applied for an appeal for the court's ruling, but the appeal was overturned, and the initial verdict was sustained when they weren't able to show up for the trial.

Since then, the cosmetics company has used this verdict as their evidence that Sung Hoon should go on endorsing their products and model for them. One representative of the company stated that Sung Hoon's modeling contract has always been valid. The company is standing its ground on continuing marketing for their product advertisement despite any legal measures.

On the other hand, Stallion Entertainment shared that they brought up the issue after realizing that the cosmetics company is using Sung Hoon's portrait rights beyond the contract's scope. The agency stated that even if they lost the civil case, they are getting ready to file a bill of indictment in the afternoon of June 2 or on the morning of June 3. This is to bring criminal charges against the cosmetics firm for the charge of malpractice as well as embezzlement.
