It's summer and it's nice to lounge and eat your favorite snacks while watching a good movie. Korean films are just as good as the K-drama series that give heartwarming stories, may it be for mystery and comedy, it's best to put on a solid Korean movie.

The Beauty Inside (2015)

The movie is based on the 2012 American social film "The Beauty Inside," a romantic-comedy film about a man who wakes up everyday in a different body. It's stars Han Hyo Joo and Yoo Yeon Seok.

On Your Wedding Day (2018)

Starring Park Bo Young and Kim Young Kwang, this is a romantic-comedy film about a ten-year love and friendship of a couple from teenage to adulthood.

Train To Busan (2016)

Starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu Mi, and Ma Dong Seok, this is a popular action-horror film that has been shown across borders, this action takes place on a train to Busan where zombie attacks and threatens the safety of the passengers. Due to its popularity, another sequel is upcoming titled "Peninsula," scheduled to be released in July of 2020.

A romance film and a remake of 2004 Japanese film with the same name, based on the novel by Takuji Ichikawa. Starring So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin.

Starring Hwang Jung Min, Kang Dong Won, Lee Sung Min, and Park Sung Woong, this crime film depicts the life of a prosecutor who is framed for murder. His quest to catch the real killer and he gets help from a con artist.

Midnight Runners (2017)

With Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul's comic acting plus action combined, this film is perfect for a cozy vacation. It's an action-comedy film about two students from the Korean National Police Universit decided to work together and track down a kidnapping incident.

The Man From Nowhere (2010)

This action thriller film about the story of a mysterious and shady man who embarks on a bloody rampage. The only person who seems to understand him is the abductor. It's stars Won Bin and Kim Sae Ron.

My Brilliant Life (2014)

This is a drama film that tackles about a young couple and had a child suffering from a disease. It is co-written and based on the 2011 novel by "My Palpitating Life" by Kim Aeran. It stars Song Hye Kyo and Kang Dong Won.

The Outlaws (2017)

A crime action film based on real events that occurred in 2007, this is named as the "Heuksapa Incident" or the story follows a turf war between a local gang that runs Garibong-dong in Guro District, Seoul, and Heuksapa gang from Yanbian, China. Starring Ma Dong Seok and Yoon Kye Sang

Spellbound (2011)

This is a horror romantic-comedy film that revolves around a magician who falls in love with a woman who can see ghosts, starring Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki.
