Viewers will soon be roaring out of laugher in the upcoming comedy series, "If You Cheat, You Die," which will be on our television screens this October!
Starring Cho Yeo Jeong from "Woman of 9.9 Billion" and Go Joon from "Oh My Baby," the comedy series "If You Cheat, You Die" tells a hilarious story about how adults often get convicted of their own guilty conscience when they do bad things.
Cho Yeo Jeon and Go Joon will be portraying the role of a married couple, named Jang Yeo Joo and Han Woo Sung. Jang Yeo Joo is an author of best-selling mystery novels that is quite popular for her writing way. She ends her stories by always killing her immortal male characters for being an unfaithful person.
Because of this, Jang Yeo Joo is dubbed the "Praying Mantis," which is an insect known for biting off male praying mantis' head for their own survival.
Despite her ill-fated novels, she actually lives a peaceful life with her husband, Han Woo Sung, who works as a divorce lawyer. Han Woo Sung is a man who always extends his kindness towards his clients. However, he gets overly passionate and emotionally involved with his work, which often gets him into trouble. He gets reported every so often because of getting too close to a client he should only be defending.
Joining the star-studded cast is the singer-songwriter, Yeon Woo, who portrays the role of Mi Rae, a college student who looks innocent but deep inside, carries a complicated personality that a lot of people find difficult to comprehend.
Yeon Woo became popular for being part of the girl group, MOMOLAND. In 2019, she decided to pursue an individual career, seeing that she has different goals. Finishing her last year in the girl group, she started getting into acting and found out that she had a knack for it.
Yeon Woo landed her first role in the web series "Happy Talk Season 2." She gradually climbed her way up by portraying small roles in dramas, such as "Tempted" (2018), "Pegasus Market" (2019), and "Touch" (2020). Yeon Woo will also be appearing in the upcoming series "Alice" in August.
With Yeon Woo's previous roles in the past, her fans should definitely anticipate her talents in acting through her portrayal of Mi Rae.
Director Kim Hyung Seok of the comedy series will be teaming up with screenwriter Lee Seong Min, who is famous for his work in "Queen of Mystery" in 2017, and the drama's sequel in 2018. Director Kim Hyung Seok leaves words to the viewers, saying to support the upcoming comedy series and await the hilarious storyline that will, without a doubt, make you laugh in tears!
Catch the Upcoming Comedy Series "If You Cheat, You Die" this October! It is said to replace the time slot of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" on KBS2 after it replaces the ongoing drama "Into The Ring."
