1. Seo In Guk
Seo In Guk began his career in the entertainment industry as a singer after he won in the first season of Mnet's talent show Superstar K in 2009. After three years of being a K-pop star, he decided to try out his talent in the field of acting and first proved his acting chops on Reply 1997 (2012). Since then, Seo In Guk was seen in several Korean dramas such as Master's Sun (2013), Shopaholic Louis (2016), and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (2018).
2. Choi Siwon (Super Junior)
Choi Siwon was known as a member of the popular boy group Super Junior. Being a Kpop idol, he, later on, decided to pursue a different career path, which is acting, and he eventually earns a lead role for a major drama in the 2010 rom-com Oh! My Lady. Since then, he has starred in numerous major drama, namely Revolutionary Love (2017), My Fellow Citizens (2019), and She Was Pretty (2015) with Park Seo Joon.
3. Park Hyung Sik (ZE:A)
Just in case you're not aware, the Strong Girl Bong-Soon star Park Hyung Sik, started his career in the Korean entertainment world as a member of the nine-piece boy group ZE:A. Just like the previously mentioned star Choi Siwon, Park Hyung Sik balanced both singing and acting, although now he is known for being an actor. His notable acting projects include Hwarang: The Poet Youth Warrior (2016), Suits (2018), and High Society (2015). Lee Min Ho fans may also recognize Hyung Sik for his supporting role as Jo Myung-soo on The Heirs (2013).
4. Cha Eun Woo (Astro)
It's just been four years since Cha Eun Woo debuted with Astro; however, were you aware that the singer began his career as an actor? At first, he did a minor cameo in the 2014 drama My Brilliant Life with Song Hye Kyo. In 2018, his acting career eventually skyrocketed to greater heights after the star was able to portray as the lead character in the JTBC drama My ID is Gangnam Beauty. You can all see him top-billing the historical drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung (2019), and the upcoming tvN shows True Beauty.
5. Ok Taecyeon (2 PM)
The famous main rapper of the group 2 PM, Ok Taecyeon was able to land his acting project on the 2010 drama Cinderella's Sister. Then he got his breakthrough just after a year when he portrayed the character of Shi Hyuk on Dream High (2011).
