Upcoming Korean drama "Start-Up" follows a story of a hard-working woman named Seo Dal Mi, who is ready to sacrifice everything to pursue her dream of becoming Korea's Steve Jobs. She drops out of university, and she continues to support herself and her future business through working part-time jobs.
The drama is said to be set in South Korea's fictional version of the Silicon Valley named Sandbox. The production team of the series has recently released new posters that also showcase other cast members who will join the main leads of the drama.
The said poster features Kim Seon Ho, who plays as Han Ji Pyung. Han Ji Pyung is the leader of the team at SH Venture Capital. Also joining them is Kang Han Na, whose role is a CEO and chaebol Won In Jae's second generation.
As seen in the poster, both Nam Joo Hyuk and Kang Han Nah are sitting on the stairs looking very radiant while Suzy and Kim Seon Ho both are leaning against the railings. They are under a clear blue sky showing us their subtle and gentle smiles. Fans are anticipating this series since it does not only include a star-studded cast but as well as prominent directors and writers.
"Start-Up" female lead Suzy is not only known for being an actress but is also a singer and is part of the girl group, Miss A. But before stepping into the world of acting, she first started as being a model and eventually she joined a reality competition called "Superstar K" and sadly made it only through the preliminary round. Suzy will star alongside actor Nam Joo Hyuk who plays Nam Do San. Nam Joo Hyuk started his acting career in the year 2014, who made his debut in the drama "Surplus Princess." He is also known to play roles in dramas such as "Who Are You: School 2015." He was also part of the cast of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." His role in the series is he is a founder and CEO of Samsan Tech.
"Start-Up" is written by Park Hye Ryun who is known for his works in dramas "Pinocchio," "While You Were Sleeping," and many more. She is the one and only Park Hye-ryeon. She is accompanied by the director of "Doctors," "Hotel Del Luna," and he also worked with Park Hye-ryeon on "While You Were Sleeping," he is Oh Choong-Hwan.
