Kim Yoo Jung has decided that she will no longer renew her contract with SidusHQ. Meanwhile, she has reportedly found a new home - Park Seo Joon's agency, Awesome ENT!
In August 2010, when the actress was only 11 years old, she signed a contract with SidusHQ. However, after ten long years with them, her contract has expired. The agency, as well as Kim Yoo Jung, initially discussed a renewal of the contract. But in the end, both parties decided that it's time to bid their farewell from each other.
Based on the exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, Kim Yoo Jung, after thinking thoroughly, decided not to renew her contract with the company. And instead, she opted to join Awesome ENT, who also houses famous actors like Park Seo Joon, Lee Hyun Woo, Han Ji Hye, Girl's Day's Yura, and many more.
The actress has considered some other agencies and had meetings with them, but in the end, she made a decision to choose Awesome ENT. The contract has been offered and all she has to do is sign the said contract.
South Korean actress Kim Yoo Jung was born on September 22, 1999. She started her career in the entertainment industry in 2003 as a child actress and she was widely recognized as one of the best child actresses in the country. She was given the nickname "Korea's Little Sister" and was also dubbed as the "Sageuk Fairy" after being featured in several acclaimed historical dramas throughout her childhood career.
Fast forward to August 2016, Kim Yoo Jung bagged her first leading role as an adult where she starred alongside talented actor Park Bo Gum in the youth historical drama, titled "Love in the Moonlight". The drama was considered a domestic hit where it garnered a peak audience rating of 23.3%.
Kim Yoo Jung was given the "Excellence Award, Actress in a Mid-length Drama" at the 30th KBS Drama Awards for her portrayal in the drama as the cross-dressing heroine.
The following year (2017), Kim Yoo Jung starred in the romantic-comedy film titled "Because I Love You", portraying the role of a high school sidekick, alongside actor Cha Tae Hyun. 2017 was a great year for the actress as she ranked 8th on Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, considered as the youngest to be included in the Top 10 at the age of 17!
Kim Yoo Jung's latest project this year (2020) was in the romantic-comedy-drama, "Backstreet Rookie", where she portrayed the character of Jung Saetbyul, a former troublemaker highschool girl that eventually became a part-time employee at a convenience store owned by Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook).
