On September 17, dongA.com reported that Yoo In Na would join the cast of the upcoming drama Snowdrop (working title), starring BLACKPINK Jisoo and Kim Hye Yoon. In response to the report, her agency YG Entertainment clarified, "She indeed received an offer for the drama, but her appearance has not been confirmed."
Snowdrop is scheduled to start filming this year for a 2021 premiere. We would love to see Yoo In Na in the drama, and we wish the cast all the success!
Yoo In Na is a South Korean actress and DJ. After supporting roles in High Kick! Through the Roof (2009-2010) and Secret Garden (2010), she rose to fame as the lead actress in Queen and I (2012), which led to a supporting role in My Love from the Star (2013-2014).
She is most popularly known and adored for her roles in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016-2017), one of the highest-rated cable television series in South Korea, and Touch Your Heart (2019), where she appeared along with Lee Dong Wook, her co-actor in Goblin. The pair was loved by fans worldwide for their unique charm.
Aside from acting, Yoo also ventured into radio. She was the DJ of Let's Crank Up the Volume from 2011-2016. She was also the MC for 7.7 Billion In Love. She's also the best friend of soloist IU.
BLACKPINK Jisoo is going to be making her acting debut with the drama Snowdrop. Actors that have been confirmed for the cast so far are Kim Hye Yoon and Jang Seung Jo. The director of the drama is Jo Hyun Tak, who previously worked with Kim Hye Yoon and screenwriter Yoon Hyun Mi in Sky Castle, which was a mega-hit in South Korea. Jung Hae In has been offered for the lead male role, and he is considering the offer.
