Comedienne Kim Young Hee and former baseball player Yoon Seung Yeol announced their marriage after only four months of dating.
On September 20, Kim Young Hee posted a picture and a lengthy post on her SNS account. She announced her wedding to her followers and introduced her fiance to the entertainment world as well.
An excerpt from her SNS message says:
"I am happy to share that I am getting married to someone who thinks more about me more than I do. He is a good person and possesses a positive outlook during my difficult times. He stayed by my side and we decided to go to the same path together."
According to reports by OSEN, the couple met through their acquaintances. Their relationship started as friends and acted like a brother-sister relationship due to the age gap. Kim Young Hee is 38 years old while Yoon Seung Yeol is 28 years old.
However, their relationship developed deeper and as they got close, they found love. In May, the couple started going out romantically. After four months of dating, the couple decided to get married.
They completed the family meeting and prepared for the wedding. But due to the pandemic COVID-19, the couple postponed their wedding celebration in January of next year.
Yoon Seung Yeol is a former baseball player who joined the Hanwha Eagles in 2011 and retired with the league in 2019. Currently, he is into a leadership course.
Kim Young Hee felt delighted as many people extended their wishes and congratulated them. Though their announcement became a headline in the industry because of the age difference, it didn't affect the couple.
While it was shocking for people who knew the actress, she felt more grateful, "Thank you to the people who supported and encouraged us."
