1. Kim Soo Hyun
Some fans may not know that the "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" star actually used to be an idol trainee under JYP Entertainment!
Though he ultimately made his debut as an actor, he has proved time and time again that his vocal skills have not gone rusty. He is one of the few actors to be cast in "Dream High" that was not a professional singer and dancer and had not previously debuted as an idol.

He has also sang for some of the soundtracks of the dramas he stared in, with the most well-known one being "One One Person" from "The Moon Embracing the Sun".
2. Yoo Yeon Seok
If you watched "Hospital Playlist", then you'll know that Yoo Yeon Seok is quite the vocalist. "Hospital Playlist" is about a group of doctors who became friends after having formed a band together.

The doctors would come together during the evening after work to jam out and relax. When fans heard his voice in the drama, people had speculated that he was lip-syncing.
But surprise - he wasn't!
He had actually proved he's quite the vocalist in his 2013 film "Born to Sing", proving he was, in fact, born to sing. Yoo Yeon Seok is actually a musical theatre star, starring in musicals such as "Wether", "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", and "Le Passe-Muraile".
He also sang "Only Feeling You" for his drama "Reply 1994," alongside his castmates.
3. Ji Chang Wook
New fans may not know that Ji Chang Wook is actually a veteran musical theater actor, even performing for military productions while partaking in his mandatory military service.

Ji Chang Wook saw breakthrough success in the drama "The Healer," where he showcased his beautiful vocals with the balled "I'll Protect You". He has sang the song a capella while promoting his film "Fabricated City", proving that he doesn't need any BGM or instruments to make his voice sound amazing.
However, the actor has a strong bias towards ballads and romantic songs. Previously, when asked to sing a K-pop song, Ji Chang Wook politely refused to do so.
4. Lee Joon Gi
Lee Joon Gi already captured fans' hearts with his role in "Again My Life," and now he will capture your heart with his vocals!

Lee Joon Gi often sings for fans during meet-ups, fan meetings and live streams, proving that the actor definitely has vocal skills. He actually lent his voice for the OST of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," singing the song "For You."
For "Tale of Arang," Lee Joon Gi sings "One Day," a ballad that expresses his character's feelings for the leading lady.
5. Lee Kwang Soo
While most fans know Lee Kwang Soo as a former runway model and a current comedian and actor, most people don't know that he is actually an amazing singer. He has shown off his cords on the variety show "Running Man" and the Chinese reality show "Perhaps Love."

Even 2PM's Chansung has complimented his voice, showing how impressed he was when Lee Kwang Soo hit the high notes as he sang "Bogoshipda."

Ahn Hyo Seop
It's not news at this point for fans that Ahn Hyo Seop used to be a JYP Entertainment trainee, and that he was supposed to debut with GOT7!

But despite choosing a different path, Ahn Hyo Seop has now proven himself worthy to be an actor. He swept viewers off their feet with his role as Kang Tae Mu in the hit romantic-comedy drama "Business Proposal" with singer-actress Kim Sejeong in April 2022.
Later this year, he is to team up with Jeon Yeo Bin in the drama "A Time Called You."
Kim Min Gyu
After he riled us up in the melodrama "Snowdrop," Kim Min Gyu made us infatuated in his character as Kang Tae Mu's (Ahn Hyo Seop) handsome and well-mannered secretary Cha Sung Hoon.
But did you know that he used to train as an idol? As a matter of fact, he trained alongside none other than the top K-pop group SEVENTEEN!
