Jung Ji So And Lee Junyoung Confirmed to Lead KBS Idol Drama "Imitation"

KBS2 TV announced on the 16th of October, 2020 that it has cast Jung Ji So, Lee Junyoung, Park Jiyeon, and Kang Chan Hee in the drama "Imitation" to be broadcast in the first half of next year.

Based on the Kakao Page webtoon of the same name, this work contains various stories of idols, their dreams, and aspirations, as well as their struggle and heartbreaks. Director Han Hyeon-hee of MBC TV's 'New Admiral Goo Hae-ryeong' is directing the drama.

Jung Ji-so plays Mach at the tea party, Lee Jun-young plays the power of Sharks, Park Ji-Yeon plays Larima, and Kang Chan-hee plays Eun-jo, a former idol Sharks. The production crew said, "Dramatic and sincere idol world is drawn in a variety of ways. In the age of 1 million idol stars, it will be a dedication to Korean idols that support all-stars who dream of being real."

Lee Jun-young (born January 22, 1997), also known as Jun, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actor. In June 2014, He debuted as a new member of U-KISS. In October 2017, He joined the survival program The Unit, which he finished in the first place and became a member of the project group UNB.

Apart from his group's activities, he has participated in various television dramas, notably Avengers Social Club (2017), marking his career breakthrough, and Goodbye to Goodbye (2018), Class of Lies (2019), and Good Casting (2020).
