The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it would appoint actress Kwon Nara as the "Hanbok PR ambassador" at the House Hall of Changdeokgung Palace on the 16th of October, 2020 with the Hanbok Promotion Center of the Korea Craft Design and Culture Promotion Agency.
In the future, Kwon Nara plans to participate in the Hanbok Culture Week event and promote the traditional Hanbok culture by using the Nuri Communication Network (SNS). Following the ambassador appointment ceremony, the '2020 Hanbok Video Contest Awards Ceremony' was also held.
The Hanbok Promotion Center held a video contest from August to September to revitalize the culture of wearing hanbok in everyday life, and 14 teams were selected as winners after a judging committee.
The award was received by the "400km family," who was evaluated for honestly expressing the happiness they felt in the changed daily life by wearing hanbok. After the appointment and awards ceremony was over, the crossover traditional music band "Second Month" and "Bang Geun Suk Concert" with Korean music player Bong-Geun Lee was broadcast.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Yang-woo said, "To promote the fact that hanbok is not worn only on special occasions, but can be worn at any time in daily life, we commissioned Kwon Nara as a public relations ambassador."
Fans are excited at this appointment, as this means that they'll be able to see Kwon Nara in the traditional attire more often than usual. There is no doubt that she would look absolutely gorgeous in it as she does at the event. Kwon Nara is all set to star in the upcoming sageuk drama, 'Secret Royal Inspector,' also known as 'Blood Of The Phantom Master' alongside Kim Myung Soo and Lee Yi Kyung. Fans are looking forward to this couple as well as how the storyline will progress.
