CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk to Join Lee Min Ki and Nana's New Rom-Com Series, 'Oh! Master'
Kang Min Hyuk, who debuted as the drummer of the four-member band, CNBLUE, confirmed to join Lee Min Ki and Nana's upcoming romantic comedy series "Oh! Master" to be aired in 2021.
After a long break from his military enlistment, CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk will be playing the character of Yoo Jin, the grandson of the most prominent family in Korean Cosmetics. His character will Be playing as the new director of a cosmetic brand after studying France. Kang Min Hyuk's character, Yoo Jin, was considered the young bachelor in the series due to his success and prominence. With his versatility, visual, and unique charms, Kang Min Hyuk is expected to play the role effortlessly.
Aside from Oh! Master, Kang Min Hyuk, will also be doing his first project after his military discharge. Kang will be leading Kakao M's original drama "How to be Thirty."
Oh! Master's lead stars will play two opposite characters that will end up living together. Lee Min-Ki Will be playing as Han Bi Soo, South Korea's best in writing thriller stories. Lee's character is also a person who does not want to be involved in dating.
Lee Min-Ki was known in Korea for his successful romantic comedy dramas, including the tv-series and movies. He was the lead in the successful series Because This is My First Life in 2017 and The Beauty Inside in 2018. He also showed his versatility in acting when he took part as an actor, it appears that trailer drama Lies Within in 2019.
On the other hand, Nana will play the role of Oh Joo In, in which the name translates as "master" or "owner" in English. Nana will be playing as an actress who was tagged as the rom-com queen who struggles in dating anyone.
Nana came from the girl group, After School, in which she also became a part of its subgroups, Orange Caramel and After School Red. She debuted as an actress right after her career in the KPop industry begun. In 2016 she ventured into acting as a supporting role in The Good Wife. Three years later, Nana started to play the starring roles in 2019's Kill it and Justice. Recently, Nana was applauded when she played acted in a romantic-comedy series, Memorials,
Jo Jin Guk, Fated to Love You and Soulmate's writer, and Hyun Sol Ip, You Drive Me Crazy's director, worked together to create this drama.
Oh! Master is expected to be released in March the following year. Meanwhile, supporters of Kang Min Hyuk is looking forward to more projects that are waiting for the actor after his military service enlistment.
