Lee Dong Wook is currently starring in the tvN drama "Tale of The Nine-Tailed", a fantasy drama that centers its story on a mythical creature, a male gumiho (a nine-tailed fox). He portrays the character of Lee Yeon, who has settled in the city blending in with normal people.
He eventually meets a strong and courageous producing director named Nam Ji Ah, portrayed by Jo Bo Ah. She is trying her best to track down the gumiho and discover the truth behind her parents' disappearance.
About his real personality as a person, Lee Dong Wook expressed that he doesn't have the special ability of a gumiho. Since he is living normally in society, he tries to get along with everyone. He tries to give out a sense of responsibility that will fit the role he is given when needed. The actor stated that his co-actors also give their honest opinions, and he openly accepts them. And since he also gives his own opinions, he also needs to listen to others' opinions.
