Lee Do Hyun expressed his desire to work again with his previous co-star in "Hotel Del Luna," IU.
On October 21, GQ Korea released its attention-grabbing interview with rising star Lee Do Hyun. The actor had a quick interview with the magazine after his photo session for its November issue. During the interview, Lee Do Hyun was able to reminisce and talk about his character in 'Hotel Del Luna' as Go Chung Myung.
First and foremost, he discussed his so-called 'past-life girlfriend,' singer and actress IU. In case you don't know, Lee Do Hyun and IU played as a couple in the past life in 'Hotel del Luna.' This explains the reason why they call IU as his 'past-life girlfriend.' Lee Do Hyun expressed that everyone knows that their love story didn't go well in the drama. So, if given a chance to meet and work with her again on a particular project, he wishes to have a happy ending with her.
Lee Do Hyun continued that IU and he are quite close, and they have a strong bond with each other. He thinks that if they fight, it'll be a huge fight. People may think of them as a real couple because of their on-screen chemistry, and the actor believes that they both can do a mellow drama given that they have good chemistry.
The actor was then asked to pick one character he thinks has stolen the spotlight. Without a doubt, he picked the character of Go Chung Myung. Lee Do Hyun shared that Go Chung Myung's role greatly impacted Manwol (IU's character in 'Hotel del Luna'). For him, this character is such a scene-stealer.
Later on in the interview, the actor shared how co-star IU changed his way of thinking. He explained that he usually has lots of regrets when he monitors his scenes. However, IU once told him that he could not even do better since he already did his best. From then on, he became more patient and tolerant of himself, all thanks to IU.
