The third season of the much-loved variety show 'Youn's Kitchen' is in the cards and as such, the cast for this season is up for discussion as well.
On October 26, 2020, Ilgan Sports reported that 'Youn's Kitchen 3' which was originally scheduled to be filmed overseas once again, perhaps in another exotic location in spring this year, was pushed back as the team could not make any plans of travel due to the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. Owing to the second wave of infections in South Korea, any shotting schedules had to be postponed.
The report cited a source who shared, "Filming is scheduled to take place in late November in Korea. The program may not be called 'Youn's Kitchen 3,' and the location is being kept a secret."
Following the report, a source from 'Youn's Kitchen 3' stated to Newsen, "We are still working out the filming schedule for season three. It is true that we have made appearance offers to Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Shik, and they are positively reviewing the offers."
'Youn's Kitchen 3' also stated and clarified that nothing had been confirmed regarding the location of the programme after it was reported, perhaps falsely, that the show would be shot in Jeju Island, South Korea.
While most of the details are still up in the air, the fact that the show is returning is certainly true. According to Ilgan Sports, 'Youn's Kitchen 3' will begin airing in January 2021.

In season 1 of 'Youn's Kitchen', Miss Youn's main ingredient was bulgogi, which was available in three dishes: Bulgogi Rice, Bulgogi Noodles and Bulgogi Burger. Prior to filming, Youn met with Lee Won-il and Hong Seok-cheon to ask for advice, and received expertise on how to operate Youn's Kitchen, including menu development and restaurant management.
From the 4th episode, new items were added to the menu, such as fried dumplings and buns, egg rolls, dumplings, and ramyeon. From the 5th episode, chicken was added. Following the same format, in the second season, the main dish of Youn's Restaurant was bibimbap, and there were initially three varieties: bulgogi bibimbap, spicy pork bibimbap, and vegetable bibimbap.
For this season, Youn again met chef Lee Won-il and Hong Seok-cheon for advice and received further know-how on restaurant operations. Kimchi was also on the initial menu. From the 2nd episode, a traditional noodle dish called japchae was added. From the 3rd episode, the spicy pork bibimbap was removed and Korean fried chicken was added. From the 4th episode, galbi or ribs was added. From the 6th episode, kimchi fried rice was added to the menu. Needless to say, the menu was a total hit!
