The upcoming drama of tvN titled "Mr. Queen" unveiled Kim Jung Hyun's character's sneak peek!
"Mr. Queen" is a historical drama that tells the story of a man from the modern days whose soul magically transferred to the body of a queen from the Joseon dynasty era. Actress Shin Hye Sun plays the character of Queen Kim So Yong, whose body was trapped with the soul of Jang Bong Hwan.
On the other hand, Kim Jung Hyun stars as King Cheol Jong, who is keeping a lot of secrets. He is a gentle and easygoing man. He seems to be weak and an unproductive king, but he has some strong hidden aspects inside him.
Additional casts include actress Bae Jong Ok who stars as Queen Sunwon, the late King Sun Jo's wife. She holds the true power of the country and makes King Cheol Jong her puppet. And lastly, actor Kim Tae Woo plays the character of Kim Jwa Geun, Queen Sunwon's younger brother. He is extremely ambitious and also wants to possess power in the country.
Kim Jung Hyun also shared that this drama will make the viewers enjoy discovering all the different aspects of the king's personality. He is asking everyone to discover his unexpected charming qualities through the broadcast.
"Mr. Queen" is scheduled to broadcast on Dec. 12 at 9:00 p.m. KST will also be available on Viki.
Kim Jung Hyun was born on April 5, 1990. The 30-year-old actor became well-know because of playing roles in various dramas titled "Don't Dare to Dream," "The Rebel," KBS2 TV's hit teen drama "School 2017," JTBC youth series "Welcome to Waikiki," MBC melodrama "Time," and tvN hit drama "Crash Landing on You."
