On Dec. 03, according to many broadcast officials, "City Couple's Way of Love" star Ji Chang Wook will guest on the hit JTBC entertainment show "Knowing Brothers." His episode is set to be recorded on Dec. 10 and will have its broadcast on the same month but the date is yet to be announced.
His latest drama with actress Kim Ji Won "City Couple's Way of Love," which is scheduled to have its premiere on Dec. 8, was postponed due to a recent report on Nov. 24 that one of the supporting actors (extra) has tested positive for COVID-19. Further, the filming temporarily postponed for their cast and crew to undergo test.
On Dec. 2, a source from the production team of "City Couple's Way of Love" shared, "The drama will premiere on December 22 at 5 p.m (KST). Even though we recently resumed shooting after our cast and crew all tested negative for COVID-19, we decided to change the schedule of our pilot episode in order to ensure the safety of everyone and give a good quality of production. We ask for audiences' understanding on this matter. "
He added, "We will continue to put our cast and team's safety first and follow government guidelines and protocols in preventing COVID-19."
Meanwhile, ever since Ji Chang Wook's military enlistment last year, he is actively receiving projects and continuously doing acting.
2020 has been a busy year for the actor starting from his SBS' series "Backstreet Rookies", following is his upcoming drama with Kim Ji Won, and newly offered role for Netflix's original series "Annarasumanara" which is a webtoon adaptation.
Regardless of his jam-packed schedule, Ji Chang Wook can still make time for other activities outside drama sets. For he is expected to appear in an entertainment program "Knowing Brothers", his fans are excited to see him in a new different environment, where they can see and enjoy his (Ji Chang Wook) charms.
You should also look forward to his comedic and humorous side on his upcoming episode at JTBC variety show "Knowing Brothers," along with the original members of the program namely Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Lee Sang Min, Min Kyung Hoon, Kim Young Chul, and Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul. Jang Sung Kyu and another Super Junior member Shin Dong are also said to be regular cast members for they have appeared in the show constantly.
The said Korean variety shows are composed of these male comedians who play as high school students, welcoming different artists as the "transfer students" every week and engaging in various fun and entertaining activities. The program was known for its cast humour and slapstick comedy.
