Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min will be making a debut in other Asian countries with their upcoming movie "Josee."
"Josee" is a remake of the Japanese film "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" (Joze to tora to sakana tachi), which tells the story of a woman and a man in the most beautiful chapter of their lives after meeting each other.
Han Ji Min will be playing the character of Josee and Nam Joo Hyuk will portray the role of Young Suk.
The movie is directed by Kim Jong Gwan and is set to premiere on Dec.10. After the cast had their press conference for the upcoming movie last Nov. 17, just a week after, it has been announced that "Josee" will be coming to cinemas soon not just in South Korea but even overseas.
The movie is pre-sold in major Asian countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. Apart from Asian countries, it is also going to the United States and Canada to give its people a new taste of Korean films.
Furthermore, Asian countries have verified their release dates at the same time as in Korea, revealing the high interest across the globe.

Singapore - December 10

Hong Kong - December 31
Various film distributors in Asian countries shared their comments and excitement about the upcoming film.
One of Clover Films officials shared, "Meeting the stars Han Ji Min and Nam Joo Hyuk onscreen, who are swiftly making a huge fan base and having a growing popularity overseas, is enough to give excitement to Asian film fans. But most of all, the sincere hard work of both actors gives its way to be recognized by the audience."
Clover Films is a movie distributor in Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Long Shong, an official member from the Taiwanese distributor, said, "The Korean remake depicts and gives a new blend to the story from its original work. The production team from cast to crew made a good team work. They show the excellent completeness and sensitivity required by the film. They also show the depth and diversity of Korean films."
Meanwhile, K-Movie Entertainment shared an update about the pre-sale of the movie overseas, " We will finish pre-sale in big countries early, to meet the expectation about the scheduled release date in South Korea. We will be bringing the Korean authentic romance movie to overseas distributors as early as possible."
The member also added, "It is a film that people can enjoy at the end of the year, as for the distributors all agreed to release it at the same year as in Korea and they are actively boosting promotional activities for the movie "Josee."
Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min had their first collaboration on screen as a couple in the Korean romantic comedy drama "Radiant."
