"Tale of the Nine Tailed" actor Lee Dong Wook posted a thank you letter to his followers on his social media account.
On December 4, Lee Dong Wook posted an update on his Instagram account and uploaded some photos that were captured on the last day of filming for his drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed." Lee Dong Wook thanked everyone for their unending love and support.
The post states' caption, "I sincerely thank the director and writer for giving me their utmost trust. They always listen to all my ideas, and I felt assured because they always hear me out." Lee Dong Wook went on, "I sincerely thank all the actors who co-starred with me, most especially, thank you to Jo Boa for patiently waiting for me and always tried to get ahead in the field. I feel honored to be able to act with you and work together. We also give thanks and lots of love to our staff who tirelessly worked with us for 7 months of filming. The staff who completed the show 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' from the start until the end. Once again, thank you."
He added "Finally, I thank all the viewers who understood and loved each character better than us. In fact, the words 'Thank you' is not enough to express my deep gratitude. I am sorry, and I regret that I can only express my feeling through these words. Sincerely, I thank you again. I did my best to bring the character of 'Lee Yeon' to life. Although I may be lacking at some point, I hope you will understand remember me for a long time. "
Lee Dong Wook concluded his letter by expressing "I hope you will not forget 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' and Lee Yeon for a long time. Thank you. I also hope that you don't get sick and take good care of your health. I'll be back with a better version soon."
Meanwhile, "Tale of the Nine Tailed" is a fantasy drama that tells the story of a mythical creature called a "Gumiho" (a nine-tailed fox). The drama will center its story on Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), a gumiho who was once the mountain spirit of Baekdudaegan. He gave up his life as a mountain god to bring back to life the woman he deeply loves, A Eum. Now, he lives amongst the human and has lived this way for centuries. He one day crosses paths with Nam Ji-A (Jo Bo Ah), who works as a producing director for a TVC station. Her current project is "Searching for Ghost Stories in the City," which features urban myths. Nam Ji A is actually the reincarnation of Lee Yeon's past love A Eum.
On Dec. 3, "Tale of the Nine Tailed" concluded and the last episode recorded an average nationwide rating of 5.785%.
