Girls Generation's Yuri flaunted her goddess beauty in a recent pictorial and interview for Elle Korea. In the interview, the singer-actress talked about her YouTube channel and shared her reasons why she created one.
Yuri said that it all started after she had been doing research about videos of cooking and healthy lifestyles. These gave her the idea that she wanted to try filming her own videos.
Earlier this year, Yuri finally opened her account to show to her fans what interests her the most at this time. She also shared that she put a lot of pressure on herself in order to do it properly, and realized that it was not just about the huge production it was all about the content.
"I started to film videos with the thought that the content and information I upload could be of help to someone, just like how I filmed my hike with my father at the beginning of this year," said Yuri.
She tried editing one of her videos but it took her one month to finish the editing. Yuri spilled more about her insights in doing her own creative process, saying, "I ask ideas from my friend, Shin Se Kyung, and to other people around me. Then, I came up with "Yuri's Winning Recipe." It was after exchanging and sharing ideas, what would it be like to film myself while cooking."
Yuri wanted to share more information to the viewers and show what her hobbies are.
Originally, her plan was to do it spontaneously. She doesn't want to invite guests but tables have turned and Yuri shared that guest artists began to appear on her show and made it easier to explain the recipes.
Even though it is her show, it gave her a lot of new different things. The Girls' Generation member shared, "The crew knew that I liked Lee So Ra so they brought her in. It was my first time meeting her, but we were able to get along well, and had a natural conversation."
Apart from her YouTube channel she is also set to have her upcoming historical drama "Bossam," which is about a person who unknowingly kidnaps a princess. Yuri shared the side of acting that satisfies her the most.
"I feel more diverse when I get the chance to wear various clothes depending on the character and lives that I will be portraying. I am also fulfilled and happy when I am completely immersed in my character," she shared.
The actress gets to experience different life situations through dramas, those of which that she thinks she would not be able to achieve. Yuri also finds it interesting to play the roles of characters that have a wider and firmer worldview than herself.
Apart from being a singer and a performer on stage, Kwon Yuri has been expanding her horizons in making new steps in achieving new things. From being an idol to being an actress, and now having her own YouTube channel where she can freely express herself as an artist makes her more diverse and well-equipped in the industry that she is working in.
Meanwhile, Yuri just recently celebrated her birthday and she posted a video on her channel to commemorate the special day. Watch it below!
