1. Park Seo Joon
Started the year with actor Park Seo Joon in the JTBC drama "Itaewon Class" in which he portrayed Park Sae Ro Yi, a restaurant owner who is seeking revenge on the man behind the death of his father. The actor is known to show his exceptional acting skills in every drama that he does, so he was able to once again showcase his versatility as an actor in this series.
2. Kim Soo Hyun
2020 has been a good year for actor Kim Soo Hyun as he made his comeback to the small screen through tvN's drama "It's Okay to not Be Okay" as he played the role of Moon Kang Tae. Kim Soo Hyun's return was a total success as his role was everything every one could ask for. He showed an exceptional performance in the said drama for his character was both funny and charming. His emotions also captured the hearts of the viewers through the relationship he has with his older brother who has special needs. Also, his romantic love-hate relationship with his on screen partner Seo Yea Ji, who also made an amazing portrayal in her character as Ko Mun Yeong, made fans laugh and fall in love.
3. Park Bo Gum
Although he is now in the military service, actor Park Bo Gum had played a great role before enlisting!
In his previous tvN coming-of-age drama "Record of Youth" his character Sa Hye Jun is a struggling model who tries to achieve his dreams of becoming an actor. His sweet and romantic side was perfect, the scenes in the drama demanded the new side of him which he amazingly did. He is also set to have a comeback on big screen with Goblin star Gong Yoo in the movie "Seo Bok."
4. Nam Joo Hyuk
In the hype of his previous drama "Start-Up," Nam Joo Hyuk proved that 2020 is a hectic yet successful year for him. He also starred in the sci-fi fantasy drama "The School Nurse Flies," where his character was a very oblivious and aloof Chinese teacher named Hong In Pyo. He did many projects already, but his character as Nam Do San shined the most among his roles. The year has not ended yet as his projects. He will also be back on the big screen in the movie "Josée" as Young Seok with his on-screen love interest actress Han Ji Min.
5. Lee Dong Wook
Lee Dong Wook recently ended his fantasy romance drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" with a bang. He played the role of Lee Yeon, a man who made many sacrifices to bring back the love of his life and has to live as a nine-tailed fox. The 39-year-old actor has the talent to play various roles, especially dark and mysterious characters. In this drama, Lee Dong Wook showed a bit of his bad-boy image and captured viewers' attention with his devilish charm.
6. Hyun Bin
Of course Hyun Bin is on the list! His role as the North Korean soldier who risked his life to be with the woman he loves. With his portrayal as Captain Ri Jung Hyuk, many viewers worldwide became hyped in the drama "Crash Landing on You." His sweet actions and never-ending charm made him the nation's heartthrob. Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin made good chemistry that made them loved even more by the audience.
7. Joon Ji Hoon
Actor Joo Ji Hoon kept himself busy in the year 2020. After his role as a charismatic lawyer in the drama "Hyena," which he was able to portray, moments of vulnerability greatly impacted the viewers. But most of all, his role as Lee Chang in the sequel hit zombie drama "Kingdom" made him stand out with his perfection and amazing acting skills.
8. Lee Joon Gi

In the eyes of others he was perfect, but there's another life he leads - one filled with murder and lies. He nailed his role in the said series proving how great an actor he is.
9. Kim Seon Ho
To one of the most love-actors today, Kim Seon Ho who gave us the second lead syndrome also needs the spotlight for his exceptional role in the hit drama "Start-Up". His character as Han Ji Pyeong had given so much impact to the viewers, his strong emotions captured the hearts of the fans. Plus, he was known for his cute dimple making him one of the new heartthrobs in the Korean drama industry.
