Cho Seung Woo shows his support to "Forest of Secrets" co-star Bae Doona and sends a coffee truck to the set of "The Silent Sea."
Currently, Bae Doona is filming his Netflix sci-fi horror thriller series "The Silent Sea" also known as "Sea of Tranquility." The actress uploaded a photo and video in her Instagram stories on Dec. 11, showing the coffee truck sent by her "Forest of Secrets" co-star Cho Seung Woo. The truck banner reads, "I'm cheering on our Doona Bae and all the cast and crew of 'The Silent Sea' and I hope that you will film safely and in good health."
The actress also captioned the the posts with "Seung Woo Chooo!!!!!!!!!!," and "Thank you Seung Woo Cho!" on the video. The video clip showcases Bae Doona yelling at the top of her voice across the parking lot as she walks towards the coffee truck while bowing. Then, her co-star Kim Sun Young approaches jokingly asking, "Why didn't the Prosecutor come?" She was referring to Cho Seung Woo's character in "Forest of Secrets."
Moving forward, "The Silent Sea" is set in a world where the future earth lacks water and food because of global desertification and is close to extinction. The story will center on the elite agents who go to an abandoned research base on the moon to collect mysterious samples. The drama's lead actor will be portrayed by the top Hallyu star Gong Yoo as Han Yoon Jae. He is the head of the team and a soldier from a space agency. He will lead the team with charisma and outstanding competence.
Bae Doo Na takes the astrobiologist's role named Song Ji An. She works together with the team investigating the accident's cause on an abandoned research base on the moon.
Another cast in the drama is Lee Joon, who will star as Captain Ryu TaeSeok, a talented engineer who is elite from the Ministry of National Defense. He decided to volunteer and join the team on the dangerous mission because he was bored from staying still in the ministry.
Meanwhile, the actress has previously acted in the popular Netflix drama "Kingdom," and has also starred in movies such as "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" (2002), "The Host" (2006), "Air Doll" (2009), and more. Gong Yoo, on the other hand, acted in the hit dramas "Coffee Prince" (2007) and "Goblin" (2016). He also starred in the box office hit movie "Train to Busan" (2016). And Lee Joon will mark this as his first drama since his military discharge.
"The Silent Sea" an adaptation of the short film with the same title of Choi HangYong that was released in 2014. He will also direct this series and actor and director Jung WooSung is participating in the production of the drama. It's penned by writer Park Eun Kyo.
