The acting performance of YoonA in her ongoing JTBC drama series "Hush" created a buzz online.
JTBC's new drama "Hush" premiered on December 11. The drama stars one of the highest-grossing actors in South Korea, Hwang Jung Min, and Girl's Generation member YoonA. With the show's first episode, YoonA received plenty of compliments for her acting performance in the drama.

"Hush" centers its story in an office and people who work there as reporters. It features their everyday struggles, problems, and ethical dilemmas.
Hwang Jung Min stars as the veteran reporter for a newspaper named Han Jun Hyeok. Initially, he planned to work as a reporter to seek justice. However, as time goes by, he experiences conflict between idealism and pragmatism. Being a reporter is already hard, but he also has to deal with his personal issues in life and balance being a husband and father at the same time.
On the other hand, Girl's Generation's YoonA stars as Lee Ji Su, a brave and straightforward reporter. She is open to everything and she isn't afraid to express her thoughts, even during a job interview.
Then, she begins working with Han Jun Hyeok who became her mentor in the news industry, and then she dreams of becoming a true and respectable journalist.
K-pop star and actress Im Yoon Ah, prominently known as YoonA, was born on May 30, 1990. The 30-year-old celebrity trained for 5 years and debuted as a member of the "Nation's Girl Group," Girls' Generation, and then in its subgroup Girls' Generation-Oh!GG in August 2007. The girl group became known as one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of South Korea's most popular girl groups internationally.
YoonA isva talented actress, apart from her K-pop group activities. She pursued a career in acting and has participated in various television dramas. Her acting career started way back in 2007 through a minor role in MBC's drama "Two Outs in the Ninth Inning." Following this, the singer and actress then appeared in MBC's "Woman of Matchless Beauty" (2008), where she received positive feedback from veteran actress Bae Jong Ok for her cameo performance.
YoonA then became widely recognized through the drama "You Are My Destiny" (2008), which marked her acting career breakthrough. She bagged the Best New Actress awards at the 23rd KBS Drama Awards and the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards for her amazing performance in the said drama.
