The annual awarding ceremony, '2020 KBS Entertainment Awards' is scheduled to broadcast on Dec. 24 at 8:30 PM KST!
Ahead of the awarding ceremony and to honor the best variety and entertainment shows this past year, KBS revealed the list of nominees who will be contending for the title of this year's "Best Variety Show."
The nominees are as follows:
- 1 Night, 2 Days Season 4
- The Return of Superman
- Dogs Are Incredible
- Immortal Song
- Boss In The Mirror
- Mr. House Husband
- Stars Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant!
The winning "Best Variety Show" on KBS will be decided through professional judging and votes sent by the viewers, which will take place during the awarding ceremony next week.
The variety shows are given a chance to convince the viewers to vote them as the "Best Variety" of the year. The cast members of the nominated programs mentioned above will present a special performance throughout the awarding ceremony. It was revealed that the cast of "The Return of Superman" are said to treat the viewers to a holiday carol stage while the stars of "1 Night, 2 Days" is planning for an explosive mystery stage.
The viewers are excited to witness each show's special performance and everyone can't wait for the "2020 KBS Entertainment Awards" to broadcast soon!
The KBS Entertainment Awards is a yearly event that is sponsored by the KBS network. The awarding ceremony will run for approximately 140 minutes long and is shown in two parts on KBS2. KBS Entertainment Awards will feature an excellent show with K-pop artists and music parodies from Gag Concert members. This ceremony is being held every end of the year, and it has been this way expect in 2017 when the Entertainment Awards were not held due to the KBS Variety Director Strike.

In the variety show "1 Night, 2 Days Season 4," the cast member go on trips throughout South Korea, While doing so, members are given tasks at a certain mealtime or point of the day to earn rewards.
In "The Return of Superman," the celebrity dads are asked to take care of their kids alone for 48 hours without the help of anyone else while their wives take a day off to relax.
In "Dogs Are Incredible," the show's hosts work together and study how the humans and the pets interact with one another and how they are able to live in peace and harmony.
In every episode of "Immortal Song," they feature six idol singers who would perform songs by the episode's singer.
"Boss InThe Mirror" showcases company bosses who go through self-evaluation to create a healthy working environment for their employees.
"Mr. House Husband" show six men who do household chores and parenting while their fellow cast members are observing them.
Last but not the least, "Stars Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant!"is a cooking battle between celebrities! Their cooking is based on a theme or genre that falls on a specific episode.
