Surely, the viewers have been anticipating this drama for a while now, and for those who have already seen the premiere, we're sure you would agree that it was worth the wait!

"Run On" is such a delightful drama to watch and here's why:

The drama is a love story between two characters, Ki Seon Gyeom (Im Si Wan) and Oh Mi Joo (Shin Se Kyung). Ki Seon Gyeom is a former popular athlete of the national team, and due to a case that he was involved in, he retired from the sport. He then started to rebuild his career as a sports agent. Afterwards, he crosses paths with Oh Mi Joo, a subtitle translator for films. She was happy to see her name as a translator during the end credits of the movie. Upon meeting him, she started to feel like they were destined to meet.

Another character in the drama is Seo Dan A (Soo-young), who is the CEO of a sports agency and the only child of the man who runs the Seomyung Group. She is stripped from her rights as an heir because of her gender. She is then pushed back on the list of potential successors to the Seomyung Group. Following this, she decided to live fiercely and to take back what was meant to be hers. Meanwhile, Lee Young Hwa (Kang Tae Oh) suddenly appears in Seo Dan A's life. He is a student majoring in art. He loves to watch movies and croquis drawing.

Let us start with "Run On's" first episode as the two lead characters prepare for the Annam International Film Festival. Mi Joo hurriedly runs through the crowds to see the famous people present at the event which includes Ji Woo and the famous athlete Seon Gyeom.

Moving forward, it seems like "Run On" gets off to a good start! The drama's cast of characters is excellent, and there are certainly some intriguing side between the main characters we have seen so far. Both the lead characters, Seon-Gyeom and Mi-Joo, showed a great chemistry with each other, especially with their scene in the police station. We can already tell that the characters are made for each other, and we will definitely see them progress over time.

Although there were encounters that are a little bit cliché and cheesy that it feels like we have seen it a million times, but somehow, it doesn't take anything away from this colorful drama.

We just love how Im Si Wan paid attention to the small details of his character and made it stand out. His acting was very natural and doesn't come off pretentious or difficult. Well, one thing is for sure, the actor always picks interesting characters!

Shin Se Kyung on the other hand is the lead actress playing for the nth time, a poor, kindhearted girl who has a big dream for herself. Her role is somehow similar to ones she has played before, however, this is just the premiere, you'll never know the twists and turns as the story progress.

Well, so far so good "Run On" is definitely a really engaging and enjoyable series to watch. Catch it on Netflix every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 PM KST.
