On Jan. 4, the actress Ku Hye Sun appeared on KakaoTV's reality show "Face ID," where she also invited her assistant director and friend Jun Han Bae to the studio. They have been working for so long, throughout being together in different projects, Ku Hye Sun and Jun Han Bae had already built a strong friendship with each other.
They started by sharing their different values when it comes to their friendship, and while in the middle of the talk, assistant director Jun Han Bae jokingly asked his friend if she was having difficulties with her love life and followed up with questions, "How has that person been lately? Have you been talking to him recently?"
Before Ku Hye Sun even answered the questions, she already laughed at her friend for asking such questions, but she then answered that she had not seen the person for a month already and said that she is not into clingy men anymore, "I don't like men who hang onto me. I really don't like clingy men." She also revealed that almost three months had passed since they first met each other and confessed that they only met up once a month.
As their conversation continues, Ku Hye Sun brought up about her plans to have a wedding. The actress also confessed that recently, she has been writing down names of people whom she wants to invite in her special day, "I have not had a wedding ceremony before, and I definitely want to have one next time. I really want to invite people who I like," upon the middle of their talk, Ku Hye Sun funnily shared, "I have made a list, but it's longer than I thought. There are more than 10 people on my list."
They were casually talking about things happening in their lives which kind of emitted a vibe wherein the two are enjoying each other's company. They also looked comfortable while sharing their own stories, and also while attentively listening to whoever is speaking.
In another segment of the show, Ku Hye Sun also shared the true story behind her viral photos. Revealing that she took a picture of herself crying as it was one of the assignments she was asked to do in her acting class before.
She shared, "I started taking acting lessons in high school. But I was initially preparing to be a singer. However, I had stage fright, so the company decided to take me in for acting lessons. The crying selfie was one of my assignments."
Also, Ku Hye Sun reminisces her acting experiences in her previous romantic comedy-drama "Boys Over Flower." She starts talking about a specific scene from the series where her character, Geum Jan Di, will have to ski down a slope awkwardly. She described how the scene slowly became more and more popular every winter season, "Geum Jan Di was a very bright person, and during that scene under the snow, I should portray and make the character look like it was her first time skiing. It was actually my first time skiing too. I did my best to make it look like I enjoyed myself, but I am really feeling scared at that time."
