The 2020 APAN Music Awards will be held soon and "Running Man" cast members Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min were chosen as hosts of the event!
The duo will participate in the ceremony as MCs, and it will broadcast on January 24 at 8:00 p.m. KST. The event will air via Seezn and Olleh TV and will also be transmitted to over 200 countries around the world.
The 2020 APAN Music Awards are co-organized by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and WADE. Originally, the ceremony was discussed to take place on November 28, 2020, but due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in South Korea, it was postponed.
The slogan for the event will be, "Thank You So Much," which brings out a message of comfort and to give thanks to everyone who has struggled because of the COVID-19 pandemic and also to the K-entertainment fans all over the world.
Back in late November 2020, the winners of popular vote categories were announced, as well as the Top 10 artists and more. Then, on January 15, through an announcement, even more winners were shared, which include artists Kim Jae Hwan who bagged the APAN Choice Best Vocalist, LEENALCHI who took home the APAN Choice New Focus, A.C.E for winning APAN Choice Global Hallyu Star, Ha Sung Woon who took home the APAN Choice Best Trend, and WEi for winning APAN Choice New K-Pop Icon.

Korean singer, entertainer, and actor Kim Jong Kook was born on April 25, 1976. The 44-year-old actor debuted in 1995 as a member of the South Korean duo Turbo.
Aside from his career in the music industry, the celebrity established himself as an entertainer, notably through his participation in variety shows including "X-man," "Family Outing," and is widely recognized for being one of the mainstays of the famous variety show Running Man.
On the other hand, South Korean actress and book writer Jeon So Min was born on April 7, 1986. The talented actress made her debut back in 2004 through the MBC sitcom called "Miracle." Then, two years later (2006), she made her big-screen debut through the film "Cinderella."
Fast forward to 2013, Jeon So Min landed her first-ever leading role in the MBC television series "Princess Aurora."
Jeon So Min took home the "Best New Actress Award" at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards. She became widely recognized for her performances in the daily drama "Tomorrow Victory" (2015), romantic comedy-drama "Something About 1 Percent" (2016), and medical thriller "Cross."
In April 2017, the actress was added as a regular cast in "Running Man." Her most recent achievement publishing her first-ever book titled "You Can Call Me After a Drink" (2020).
