A new writer for the ongoing action drama "The Uncanny Counter" is expected to join the production team after its previous writer withdraws from the position.
New Writer, New Excitement Plot
According to one of the representatives of the OCN drama on Jan. 17, writer Yeo Jin Na officially left the series, saying, "Due to different opinions about the upcoming episodes to be aired, script writer Yeo Jin Na has withdrawn from the show as a result of mutual agreement."
The official added that episodes 12 and 13 were written by two different persons, "Scriptwriter Yeo Jin Na penned the script through Episode 12, and director Yoo Sun Dong wrote the script for Episode 13."
In addition, episode 13 penned by the director was aired on Jan. 16, while Yeo Jin Na's final script for the drama was aired last week (Jan. 10). After what happened, the production team of "The Uncanny Counter" is currently planning welcome a new writer aboard who will take over in writing the remaining episodes of the drama.
Meanwhile, the series is consistently making huge progress in the drama history of OCN. "The Uncanny Counter" is still receiving good viewership ratings in every episode. The cast and the story are the show's biggest turning points.
In fact, episode 12 was able to achieve a viewership rating of 10.581 percent nationwide, and 10.203 percent in the metropolitan area, according to AGB Nielson. Every episode is packed with lots of things to look forward to. From the amazing action stunts of the cast, humor and funny interaction of each and every member of the cast are being lauded by the viewers.
Because of the drama, and his impressive acting skills, Jo Byeong Gyu has been receiving offers for his next projects. Many were astonished at the 24-year-old actor for being able to immerse himself in his character.
