"Mr. Queen" And "Homemade Love Story" Steadily Increased their ratings and achieved an all-time high to date.

As the story starts to unfold, it seems that these series are not just maintaining their viewership ratings; rather, they keep on increasing. tvN's "Mr. Queen" and KBS 2TV's "Homemade Love Story" surely have reached a high rating.

"Mr. Queen" Synopsis and Characters

Starring Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun, "Mr. Queen" is about a chef who works at the President's Blue House and works for the top politicians in the present day. Magically, he found himself in the body of Queen Cheorin in the Joseon Period. Additionally, this drama series is an adaptation of a Chinese web drama Go Princess Go.

The Queen is married to King Cheoljong, played by Kim Jung Hyun. He is the reigning monarch, but he does not seem to have control over the country since the true ruler who wields such powers is the late King Sunjo's wife, the Grand Queen Dowager Sunwon.

Behind Queen Sunwon's propaganda is her younger brother, Kim Jwa-Geun, who desires nothing but power.

The longer Queen Cheorin stays much longer with her husband, the King, the more she starts to discover the King's darker side.

"Mr. Queen" Current Rating, According to Nielsen Korea

With each episode starting to unravel, fans seem to enjoy the drama not just because of the lead actress but also the story starts to get better. No wonder the viewership rating spikes up.

With the latest result released by Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast had an average score in the nationwide rating of 14.9 percent and even reached its first personal record at the peak of 16.3 percent. With this rating, "Mr. Queen" has cemented its place to be on top in its time slot all across the channels defeating other public broadcast networks.

Episode 16 ended that the Queen Cheorin is hinted to be pregnant. Surely fans can't wait if she is pregnant ever since they agreed to remove their no-touch policy in the previous episode.

Meanwhile, "Homemade Love Story," starred by Jin Ki-Joo and Lee Jang-Woo, is about an architect Woo Jae-Hee who has been living with his father in a feud. Although his father runs a big company, he left home and lived independently right after entering university.

On the other hand, his love interest Lee Bit Chae works for an interior design shop. She helps customers choose home designs such as curtains, lightings, and many more. She dreams of having her own textile company and the strong desire to leave her hometown to start anew, living a different life as she is tired of providing for her family as she has been taking the responsibility as the head.

Both living in the same village at Samwang Villa, the two met, starting with an argument at a remodeling site.

No doubt Lee Bit Chae falls in love with Woo Jae-Hee not only of his strong personality but he is successful and handsome also.

Since the premiere, "Homemade Love Story" started strong with an average of 19.9 percent rating nationwide. And just its recent episode, the latest broadcast rating went to as high as 30.3 percent on its average nationwide ratings.

Seem that the chemistry between Jin Ki-Joo and Lee Jang-Woo somehow is well-received by the audience, who knows it may become one of the greatest drama series of all time.
